Portable flash workshop

Hi, the portable flash workshop on 10th nov 2-5pm will be in JL 16.

Please bring digital cameras and flash guns if you have them. I have booked some flashguns from the stores as well but not cameras.

hey! fellow photographers doese any one has any clue about discounts offered to us by Adobe on purchase of creative suite3, i heard Sarah mentioning Microsoft giving huge discount to UCA students. i wonder if Tim has got any information regarding CS3,.....

Alan Dein on Radio 4

Alan Dein is a very interesting social historian who has done alot of work around photography - he is very interesting to listen to particularly his ability to make things visual on radio - he is doing an interesting programme on landscape at 11am on Monday - I am hoping to get him in for a talk sometime. He was also involved in the Oral History of British Photography which is located in the national Sound Archive at the British Library.
I would be interested to know what you thought about him

small publishers book fair

Do check this out - it is on on friday and saturday, i hope to go on friday night. The BookRoom has a stand and it is where we exhibit both staff and student works - last year we did the ICA book fair and we try to change fairs each year

Royalties ?!

Hi, I think I saw in this afternoons lecture ( tue 21st oct ) images from a picture library that had not been paid for.

Was I correct and if so, does anyone have any views on this ?

A re-introduction to this blog

Hi, as the workshop cannot start untill 11 on thursday we thought we could spend the now spare 30min reviewing the how to and the what for of this blog. ie still start at 10.30

Although I guess if you are reading ths you probably don't need it!

Welcome to the Farnham Photography MA blog.

An easy way for us all to communicate, support, "discuss", question and help each other.

At the moment this is open to the world but I can change it if you like?

I do not know ( haven't been able to find out yet ) how big an image we can post so I suggest we restrict images to 600 pixels on the long side. They will still take up a lot of the screen. You can also post links to images in other places if you prefer.
